The machine was easy enough to assemble becuase of the very few parts. No wrenches or screw drivers were necessary becuase everything is included. However, the seat assembly that is supposed to slide along the rails gets hung up. When you start using the machine the first few strokes are accomplished easily, but a slight shift in your body weight will case the seat assembly to bind making the attainments of any kind of even stroke impossible. Additionally, the rubber band that is used to provide resistance simply is not strong enough. If I was able to try this product in the strore before making my purcahse, I would not have bought it.

This rowing machine is a piece of junk. You would be better off doing a rowing motion on the floor. This is the worst product that I have ever purchased. And, it was not easy to put together.
